Celebrations of 82nd Anniversary of the flight of Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas across the Atlantic

On 19 of July 2015 Szczecin and Pszczelnik held celebrations of 82nd Anniversary of the flight across the Atlantic of the Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas.
During the celebrations Ambassador of Lithuania Šarūnas Adomavičius stressed that "the names of the pilots became a symbol of courage, patriotism, sacrifice and love of country. Darius and Girėnas - the part of the identity of Lithuania".
Pupils of the Darius and Girėnas School in Puńsk and the Lithuanian Armed Forces choir "Aidas" presented artistic program.
The event were attended by delegations of the city of Kaunas and the Kaunas region of Lithuania.
