Honouring the Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust
On January 22-23, Chargé d'Affaires Audronė Markevičienė participated in the events dedicated to commemoration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day that took place in Auschwitz.
Among the special guests was Reuven Rivlin, 10th President of the State of Israel, Sebastian Kurz, former Chancellor of Austria, Stefan Löfven, President of Party of European Socialists and former Prime Minister of Sweden, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, President of Parliament of Ireland, Peter Pellegrini, President of National Council of Slovak Republic, Georgios Gerapetritis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Matteo Renzi, Senior Senator and former Prime Minister of Italy, Anna Koukkides-Procopiou, Minister of Justice of Cyprus, and many other important officials.
