Summer Course (2010)
Language practice centre Lingua Lituanica introduces foreigners with Lithuanian culture, people and language.
2 - 14 August 2010, Lingua Lituanica will hold a two-week Lithuanian language Summer Course. Groups for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students are intended. The course consists of 50 academic hours (2 weeks, 4-6 academic hours a day): Language practice - 44 acad. hours, reviews of Lithuanian history, literature and ethnology - 6 acad. hours. The course is based on communicative teaching of languages, all 4 language skills are combined (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Elements of various teaching methods (traditional, suggestopedia, transmission) are implemented also. Students are involved in activities to practice and develop their communicative skills. Gallery, which is in Lingua Lituanica place will introduce foreigners with Lithuanian photographers, painters. During the course a diverse cultural programme (excursions round Lithuania and various meetings with famous Lithuanian people and people from abroad living in Lithuania) will be offered. Programme

Certification.
At the end of the course students will get an-official Lithuanian language Summer course Certificate.

From bus and train station take a trolleybus No. 2 and No. 5 or bus No. 53 and
go till "Vilniaus" bus stop (5 bus stops). From airport take a bus No. 2 and go till "Lukiškės" bus stop (9 bus stops). Language Practice Centre is in Gedimino ave. 26 (floor III).
