Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis: Painting and Photography at International Cultural Centre

Exhibition of works by one of the most important Lithuanian artists of the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Almost a 100 of exhibits – paintings, prints and sketchbooks – will introduce the work of the remarkable artist-visionary. Čiurlionis’ subtle and atmospheric painting was inspired with nature, the world of myths, fairy tales, Lithuanian folklore and philosophy. In an original way, the artist sought to develop the idea of the correspondence of arts by combining in his visual works painting and music.
