Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Political Director Laimonas Talat-Kelpša Visits Warsaw
On July the 29th, Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Political Director Laimonas Talat-Kelpša held bilateral talks in Warsaw with Undersecretary of State Robert Kupiecki on security and defense. During the visit, the complex current geopolitical situation, Russia's aggression against Ukraine, other important security and defense policy issues, European and transatlantic cooperation, EU enlargement, preparations for Lithuania's EU Council Presidency, and important Lithuanian-Polish bilateral cooperation in the field of security and defense were discussed. Talat-Kelpša also met with Andrzej Grzyb, Chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, and heads of non-governmental organizations – the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, the Centre for Eastern Studies, and the Center for International Relations
