Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius has congratulated Grzegorz Schetyna on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. “Lithuania and Poland have a long record of supporting each other’s endeavours. Our countries are close partners in the European Union, NATO and other multilateral organizations, and there is a broad scope of issues where Lithuania and Poland have common interests and goals”, reads Minister’s congratulatory letter. “I very much hope that our cooperation as foreign ministers will be truly active and our strategic partnership will further continue along the same course”.
