PRIME MINISTER ALGIRDAS BUTKEVIČIUS HAS SENT CONGRATULATIONS TO NEW POLISH PRIME MINISTER EWA KOPACZ

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has congratulated Ewa Kopacz on her appointment as Prime Minister of Poland. “Lithuania and Poland are united not only by strong historical ties, intensive European agenda, and common security aspirations, but also by particularly close cooperation in energy, culture, and other fields”, reads Prime Minister’s congratulatory letter. “Given the current geopolitical situation, strategic partnership between our countries has become ever more important. A number of mutually important infrastructure projects, alongside other significant matters, lie ahead. I trust that the work that has been started will receive your personal attention”.
