The XXV Session of the Assembly of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Seimas and Senate of the Republic of Poland was held in Warsaw

5-6 June the delegation of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania participated in the XXV Session of the Assembly of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Seimas and Senate of the Republic of Poland in Warsaw where the discussions focused on the geo-political situation in the region, the bilateral cooperation in the fields of defence and security, as well as the countries' support to Ukraine and Belarusian civil society. Issues such as the protection of the rights of national minorities, the fight against disinformation, propaganda, radicalisation, xenophobia and hate speech were discussed.
